Milestones in the history of Alsfeld

With the special exhibition “Milestones in the town’s history” in the Alsfeld Town Museum, the exhibition team of the Alsfeld History and Museum Association has once again succeeded in presenting well-founded and at the same time generally understandable information on the history of our home town of Alsfeld.

In this way, visitors to our town, both long-established residents and newcomers to Alsfeld can learn about the history of our town. The former regional museum has been closed for many years due to renovation work on the buildings to make them fit for preservation. This makes it all the more important to take a “look into history” with this special exhibition, which is also an important piece in the mosaic of Alsfeld’s cultural diversity.

The work of the Alsfeld History and Museum Association has become a trademark for the continuous museum and scientific work on the history of the town, which is made comprehensible to an interested public with this special exhibition.

The booklet accompanying the exhibition is available at the museum ticket desk.
