Geschichts- und Museumsverein Alsfeld e.V.– Since 1897 –

The Geschichts- und Museumsverein (GMV) has a long tradition in Alsfeld. It was founded on 9 September 1897 by citizens of Alsfeld as the "Geschichts- und Alterthumsverein". In 2022 we will celebrate our 125th anniversary.

800 years - Alsfeld celebrates!On May 15, 2022 our anniversary exhibition will start in the finished part of the museum and part of the city area. We look forward to seeing you!
